The case investigation began after two girls (two and a half years old and her sister) who live in one of the moshavs in Western Galilee told their relatives that Caspi asked them to “make him pleasant.” As a result, a complaint was filed with the police.
As a result of the investigation, 11 different complaints were accumulated, and suspicion of serial harm to minors and toddlers in Galilee and in various places in Israel.
The Israel Police / Ma’alot Station in the North District asks for the public’s help locating additional victims. Anyone who knows about other cases or can help with additional information is asked to call the Ma’alot police at 049578444 or the 100 hotlines at all police stations throughout the country.
Attorney Nadav Grinold, who represents the suspect, noted that Caspi is average and has no criminal record: “At this stage of the investigation, we are prevented from commenting; we will let the police do their work.”
