Surprising drama at the corner of Melchet and Shenkin streets in the heart of Tel Aviv: a woman in her early twenties was arrested on suspicion of assisting pedophilia. The suspect is being questioned at the police station on Dizengoff Street in Tel Aviv.
A woman in her early twenties was arrested tonight at the corner of Melchet and Shenkin streets in the heart of Tel Aviv on suspicion of aiding pedophilia. The pedophile catcher Avi Dubitzky, who posed as a 13-year-old girl and corresponded with the woman in the last few days in dozens of correspondences, some of which were sexual, arranged to meet with her in the center of Tel Aviv. When she arrived, accompanied by another young man, the police surprised them in front of passers-by on the street and arrested her. The young woman, who resisted arrest for many minutes and even scratched and bit one of the police officers, claimed at first that she was a friend of the 13-year-old girl. She is being questioned at the police station on Dizengoff Street in Tel Aviv.
Dubitzky, who was present during the suspect’s confrontation with the police officers, handed over the correspondence between him and her to the police investigators. According to Dubitzky, she arrived at the meeting place on behalf of a pedophilia suspect in his fifties, who sent her to bring the minor to a night meeting with him. The suspect, with whom Dubitzky also corresponded in recent weeks, tried several times to arrange a meeting with someone he thought was 13 years old.
