The case of the kindergarten teacher suspected of sexual offenses. After he was released from detention, he returned to work at the kindergarten, with many of the parents unaware of the serious accusations. The kindergarten owner claims the assistant did not return to work, but the cameras proved otherwise.
A kindergartner assistant from Tel Aviv was investigated after he fell into the net of the “pedophile hunter” Avi Dubitzky. The suspect was interrogated by police on suspicion of attempted sexual harassment and tried indecent acts and was released at the end of the investigation to house arrest. In a telephone conversation between the suspect and Dubitzky, which reached News 2 Online, the suspect denied that he corresponded with Dubitzky, who had been posing as a minor for about a month and a half.
I didn’t talk to minors and I don’t go out with minors either,” the suspect told Avi Dubitzky on the phone when he was forced to confront accusations against him, “I only meet people my age and older. Not less than my age.” During the phone conversation that lasted more than seven minutes, the suspect changed several versions when he tried to explain the meaning of the messages that allegedly came out of his phone.
At first, the suspect claimed that his phone was stolen. “So on February 1, your phone was stolen?” Dubitzky confirmed that he understood the suspect’s claim correctly. The suspect replied correcct, and Dubitzky immediately challenged him: “So that means, on January 24th, the phone was in your possession.” At this point, the suspect replied: “No, I didn’t have it. I don’t remember where I forgot it. But this phone is not always with me.”
“Who else uses it?” Dubitzky asked him. “My friends from work,” the suspect replied. “So you must know their names,” Dubitzky concluded. “I know, but what is all this investigation?”, wondered the suspect.
Later, the suspect claimed that someone may have hacked his internet, but the “pedophile hunter” was not satisfied with his answers and claimed that he was trying to evade. “Do you expect me to believe this?”, Dubitzky concluded the conversation.
The suspect's employer: "We are not like that"
Even earlier, Dubitzky called the suspect’s employer. Dubitzky posed as a parent of twins who wanted to enroll his children in kindergarten and asked if the police had approved her and her assistant to open a kindergarten. “Why do I need the police?” the kindergarten teacher asked, and Dubitzky explained that he was afraid of pedophiles.
“Oh, this is not me,” the kindergarten owner firmly replied, “No, no, no, we don’t have such things. We are not of that type. You can take our names and check that we do not have a criminal record, but no kindergarten in the State of Israel receives permission from the police to open a business “.
“Theoretically, anyone can open a garden,” the owner who employed the suspect of pedophilia explained to Dubitzky. “Unfortunately, there is no supervision over this; I would be willing to have supervision if you ask me.”
Avi Dubitzky filed a police complaint against the suspect in the prior months, but only today, as mentioned, was he arrested. This can be attributed to the involvement of several members of the Knesset who were contacted by the “Pedophile hunter” and to News 2 Online’s contacting the Police for a response.
